For Community Organizers — Updated July 2026

Free Community Event Signups for Meetups, Neighborhoods, and Faith Groups

Unlimited events and participants, ad-free signup pages, automatic reminders, and waitlists. Built for organizers who already know their audience.

Why this exists

Community organizers — meetup hosts, neighborhood association leaders, faith group coordinators — keep getting pushed toward bloated, ad-heavy, or expensive tools that were built for ticketed marketplaces. I'm In! is the free, focused alternative.

What you get

Unlimited participants

Run a 50-person dinner or a 500-person community day on the same free tier. No participant cap.

Ad-free signup pages

Your signup page shows your event — period. No third-party banner ads, no upsells, no clutter.

Automatic reminders

Confirmed participants receive reminders 24 hours and 1 hour before the event when automatic reminders are on.

One-link sharing

Share the signup in a newsletter, group chat, or flyer. The generated QR opens the same live page.

No-account signup

People join with a name and email. They do not need to create an account or install an app.

Free forever for community use

Community organizers who run unmonetized events stay on the free tier indefinitely. There is no usage trap.

How the workflow runs

  1. 1Create your event at https://im-in.events/create.
  2. 2Add details: title, dates, location, slots, and capacity.
  3. 3Turn on reminders.
  4. 4Share the signup link in your community channels — newsletter, WhatsApp, neighborhood Facebook group.
  5. 5Watch the signup count climb.
  6. 6On event day, open the live roster in the dashboard.
  7. 7Use Pro CSV export when you need an offline roster.

Who it fits

Neighborhood associations, book clubs, religious congregations, parent groups, civic clubs, and grassroots organizers use I'm In! to coordinate community events without paying for the privilege.

How it compares to common alternatives

Meetup.com

Strong for discovering new groups and attendees; check its current organizer plans when public discovery is part of the job.

Eventbrite

Adds marketplace-style discovery and ticketing. Current ticket fees vary by market and plan.

Facebook Events

Free but signups are flaky, no reminders, no capacity enforcement, and you're at the mercy of Facebook's algorithm for who sees the event.
